The Breast Center

The Breast Center is an Accredited Breast Center by the National Accreditation Program for Breast Centers and is designated a Breast Imaging Center of Excellence by the American College of Radiology.

We recommend annual screening mammograms for women starting at age 40 through age 90, as long as they are healthy. For women who may be at an increased risk of developing breast cancer or anyone who wants to learn more about their personal risk,  we offer risk assessment appointments with a specially trained nurse to develop a personalized care plan. 

At the Breast Center, we provide supportive, expert care for both women and men coping with breast cancer, as well as for women proactively concentrating on breast health as part of their overall wellness.

We provide 3D mammography at five convenient locations in Northwest Arkansas, and all of the radiologists are fellowship-trained in breast imaging. 

Established in 2003, The Breast Center provides the latest proven technology for screening and diagnostics and the highest standard of breast care.  With locations in Fayetteville, Springdale, Bentonville, Bella Vista, and Harrison, The Breast Center offers convenient breast health services for all of Northwest Arkansas.

Personalized Care

About 48% of women have dense breast tissue. If your mammogram report indicates you have dense breast tissue, you are at a higher risk of developing breast cancer.  The Breast Center offers dense breast ultrasound screening, a supplemental screening that can be scheduled with an annual mammogram. 

At a mammogram appointment, each patient completes a risk screening as part of the registration. If you are at increased risk, we will offer a risk assessment appointment with a specially trained nurse to discuss options for screening and develop a personalized care plan that may include genetic testing, dense breast ultrasound screening, breast MRI, and frequency of screening. 

 The Breast Center is part of the Arkansas Breast Cancer Specialists, a group of physicians and other healthcare professionals from the areas of Breast Imaging, Pathology, Surgery, Medical Oncology, and Radiation Oncology. The team works together to provide exceptional coordinated care for breast cancer patients in Northwest Arkansas.
