The 2011 Fall NWA Media Job Fair presented by WorkSource NTS and Northwest Arkansas Community College is scheduled for Monday, October 31, 2011 from 10:00am – 4:00 p.m. at the John Q. Hammons Convention Center in Rogers. The Convention center is conveniently located just off of I-540 at Exit #83 
We are proud to announce that the Chamber will be partnering with “Hiring Our Heroes.” This is part of the US Chamber’s “Hiring Our Heroes” program, a nationwide public-private partnership to help veterans and spouses find jobs in their local communities. So far, they have held fairs across the country in cities like Chicago, Denver, and Madison. Hundreds of veterans have already found jobs. And the US Chamber won’t stop until they hold 100 hiring fairs over the course of the year. So, the Rogers-Lowell Area Chamber of Commerce has stepped up to the plate is partnering up with the US Chamber and the “Hiring Our Heroes” program in October for the Fall Job Fair.
The Fall Job Fair is a great opportunity for businesses to get a jump start on hiring for the holidays, as well as full-time employment opportunities.
The 2011 Fall Job Fair is FREE to job seekers! Bring plenty of resumes to hand out to potential employers.
The NWA Job Fair is the largest and longest running Job Fair in northwest Arkansas and features the popular “Job Seekers Lounge,” complete with computers providing applicants easy access to online applications.
