A historic gathering in St. Louis today as 80 Mercy chaplains from across states and communities united for the first time! They're the ones offering hands and hearts to patients and co-workers, and today they joined forces to deepen the spiritual care they provide. A day of learning and fellowship with CEO Steve Mackin cheering them on! #FacesofMercy

This is what sets Mercy nurses apart! Kayla is more than just a nurse to Aimee and Laren Loveless; she's become part of their family. When it was time to welcome their new baby, Kayla (far right in photo #1) decided to clock in at 2 a.m. to be there for them, even making a banner to help celebrate. "I cried tears of joy as soon as I saw her because it was so touching that she came in just for us," Aimee said. "We became immediate friends and have kept in touch since." A big shoutout to Kayla and all our fantastic nurses who go above and beyond every single day! #NursesWeek

Talk about a full-circle moment! Holly, a former preemie at Mercy St. Louis, returned 18 years later to job shadow Nurse Meg—the very nurse who cared for her when she weighed just over a pound! Now dreaming of becoming a fire medic, Holly did two rotations in the Mercy Kids NICU (neonatal intensive care unit) through the St. Charles County CAPS program. #NursesWeek #BeaMercyNurse
