Job Description:
The Account Representative is responsible for performing collection activities on receivables. The Account Representative will locate and communicate with debtors via the telephone and written notices in order to obtain repayment in full or to establish acceptable payment arrangements. The Account Representative will resolve issues of a non-routine nature as necessary, as well as perform skip tracing and contract observance functions to ensure compliance of all company, client, and federal and state regulations. Responsibilities & Duties: •Communicate with debtors in regard to the repayment of their delinquent debt. •Achieve assigned goals (fee, postdate, liquidation, and/or consolidation applications taken- specified by line of business) •Make required number of phone calls daily as determined by management •Profile debtors and obtain financial information. Update demographic and financial information for each call •Refer accounts for legal or administrative wage garnishment processes if applicable, as dictated by department and/or client requirements •Perform skip tracing to locate debtors •Use skip-tracing tools to locate the debtor in the most efficient manner •Locate required number of skip accounts as determined by management •Effectively communicate with third parties to obtain location information •Profile accounts that are determined un-locatable or exhausted •Ensure all accounts are worked within client standards and Federal regulations •Maintain specified file of accounts per client standards •Work within FDCPA, state regulations, department/division, and CRI Compliance Policies •Maintain clear, concise and accurate documentation of all attempts and/or contacts made and received for accounts in accordance with company and client specifications Additional Responsibilities & Duties: •Maintain continuing education and training in industry career development •Maintain current knowledge of and comply with all federal and state regulations governing collections including FDCPA, Privacy Act, FCRA, etc. •Attend training sessions as directed by management •Integrate information obtained through training sessions and policy changes into daily outlines •Assist with collector productivity monitoring through reports and daily productivity measurements as directed
Experience Required:
Educational Requirements: o Must have a High School Diploma or GED Experience Requirements: o Microsoft Windows and PC experience o Basic keyboarding skills o Minimum of 6 months’ collections experience preferred o Experience with internet search engines preferred Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: o Clean background required in order to obtain mandatory license for collecting. o Strong verbal communication skills o Good mathematical and analytical skills o Ability to meet aggressive daily, weekly, and monthly production and quality goals o Ability to work flexible day, evening and weekend hours as required o Knowledge of federal and state regulations governing collections including FDCPA, Privacy Act and FCRA preferred Other Information: o Hand dexterity o Able to talk, read and hear clearly o Occasionally required to stand or walk and lift and/or move up to 25 pounds o Employee works in an office environment. Employee sits at a desk during regularly scheduled work hours; answers and makes telephone calls using a standard telephone; types on a standard keyboard; and reads and comprehends information from a computer terminal and/or written resources. o Must be able to complete and pass level 5C clearance that will be completed during training. o Hourly pay will range between $11.09 to $14.00 an hour plus an additional $4.48 per hour for your Health and Welfare benefits. Job Description:
Central Research is seeking a Collections Manager (CM) for immediate hire to oversee collectors that support our Federal Government contract. The CM provides supervision of an assigned Collections Team of approximately 15 direct reports. In addition to supervisory responsibilities, the CM is responsible for ensuring that collections activities completed by the team are in compliance with company policies and applicable state regulations. This is a working supervisory role, and the CM actively speaks with borrowers, monitors calls, and provides on-the-job development of direct reports. Responsibilities & Duties: •Coordinate with the Senior Leadership to establish work flows for the team •Rebuild work queues to fit the work flow set for the team •Conduct at least one call review per week on each collector •Send training notes from each call review conducted •Conduct collections floor walkthroughs and observe staff performance •Update collectors on the cash totals daily •Update Rehab and production boards •Train existing staff in areas of collection and skip-tracing and be available to answer questions on an ongoing basis •The position manages employees and is responsible for performance management •Participate in the recruiting process by interviewing and recommending applicants to fill open positions •Provide job-related new hire orientation, including team and commission •Additional duties as assigned
Experience Required:

Job Description:
Summary: Central Research is actively seeking a Senior Collections Manager (SCM) to assist with overseeing our student aid default collection services contract. This position collaborates with and reports to the Director of Operations (DOO). The SCM provides front-line supervision of Collection Managers and their respective collections team. In addition, the SCM is responsible for ensuring that collections activities completed by the team are compliant with company policies and procedures and applicable state and federal regulations. Responsibilities & Duties: •Coordinate with the DOO to establish work flows for the collections team •Lead, manage, and train collection teams; including managers, supervisors, and team staff •Mentor, coach and develop the collections management team, to ensure operational excellence •Develop strategies to enhance student loan collection production •Speak with consumers and monitor calls •Design and implement process improvements to increase performance and minimize risk •Collaborate with DOO regarding decisions on operational activities and strategic goal setting •Realign work queues to align the work flow set for each team •Conduct call monitoring audits to ensure staff is following client guidelines and following company policies and procedures •Review statistics to identify any necessary plan of correction •Assist the Compliance Manager with call audits and inform the staff of results and requirements for improvement •Review monthly performance reports •Develop strategies to identify areas of under producing segments of the portfolio •Partner with the Collections Manager to deliver collector refresher training •Route reviews; ensure accounts are worked at least every 7 days
Experience Required:
