The Best Friends Pet Resource Center is a place for pets — and the people who love them — in the heart of Northwest  Arkansas.

The new center is a place where the community can adopt a new best friend, find a pet to foster, and come together to save the lives of dogs and cats in Northwest Arkansas and beyond.

This is a place where families can find loving, adoptable cats and dogs along with any help they might need to keep their pets happy and healthy.

The pet resource center is a first-of-its-kind, fully reimagined facility that upends the traditional model of animal shelters and introduces a compassionate new standard focused on saving lives. Its design and operation reflect an understanding that our animal companions are an integral part of our families and our communities.

A Center for the Study of Food was conceived to be more than a typical culinary school. As an academic department of NorthWest Arkansas Community College (NWACC), Brightwater offers uniquely holistic programming with academic and career training in the areas of culinary nutrition, artisanal food, beverage management and food entrepreneurship.

Brightwater breaks the mold by focusing on the larger food system, culinary skills, wellness, and strengthening local food networks to change the paradigm of culinary education. Assembling a core group of chef instructors and culinary masters, the school's Artisanal Food, Beverage Arts, Baking & Pastry and Culinary Arts programs teach and inspire students, industry professionals, and the general public in an innovative educational setting.

The Center for Nonprofits at St. Mary's is a multi-partner venue that houses nearly 60 agencies providing health, education and human services to people living in Northwest Arkansas. By eliminating duplication of services and focusing resources on community impact versus capital campaigns, nonprofit organizations housed at the center are able to more effectively serve the community. Our focus is to provide below-market-rate leases for nonprofit organizations in a space that encourages collaboration and provides easy access to services for the public.

We provide physical office space, including classroom and meeting rooms, amenities and support services to our tenant organizations. Our model supports community development by providing a professional environment in which organizations focusing on health, social, and community services can collaborate to make a positive impact.

Our 13-acre campus, including the former St. Mary’s hospital, convent and outbuildings, totals nearly 300,000 square feet along South 13th Street and West Poplar in downtown Rogers.

We are the destination marketing organization (DMO) for the City of Rogers (overseen by the Rogers Advertising and Promotion Council) and work in collaboration with the Chamber to create economic opportunity for the community by attracting meetings, conventions and leisure visitors. Our work also helps to promote Rogers as an entertainment destination and world-class place to live, work, invest and play. To us, it’s all about improving the quality of life for our residents through increased tourism economic impact.

More and more leisure and business travelers today are sharing their experiences over multiple online channels. By doing so, they are taking over the promotion of the destination on a far greater scale than any tourism organization could. So, our role is evolving. We’re developing new partnerships to improve our destination experience. That means we’re listening to our customers more, discovering new ways of doing things, and personalizing more of what we do to deliver an outstanding experience.

At Destination Rogers, we understand that building a place you want to visit also builds a place where people want to live. And building a place where people want to live builds a place where people want to work. If you build a place where people want to want to work, you build a place where business needs to be. And if you build a place where business needs to be, you build a place where people have to visit.

Habitat has built homes across communities in Benton County including Bentonville, Pea Ridge, Rogers, Centerton, Gravette, Decatur and Siloam Springs. Additionally, Habitat builds homes in Rogers in a 5-acre neighborhood, known as Habitat Trails. It is the first ecological neighborhood in Arkansas, and was developed in partnership with the University of Arkansas. The eco-friendly neighborhood won an international award in 2006–the EDRA/Places Award for Place Planning. Besides building houses, Habitat for Humanity builds relationships with its partners and the community, which result in a sense of belonging. All Habitat Homes are “eco-friendly”—meaning energy-efficient and environmentally sound. This results in significant savings for homeowners. Habitat Homes not only offer an affordable path to homeownership, but also offer sustainability and stability for the Homeowners.

An angel ready to help families facing the unexpected loss of an infant. Our children are our world, but when they unexpectedly leave us, our world can seem like it’s crashing down. Losing our infant son is something that we never planned for, and the financial burden is unwelcoming during a time of deep grief. We will be there for you: - Financially: lifting the burden so that you can honor the life of your child - Spiritually: providing meaningful resources to help with personal healing and growth - Emotionally: supporting you with connections specialized to your family's bereavement journey We pray that our experiences navigating the unknown with our baby boy Nicholas will help lighten your load in this journey. "When you go through deep waters I will go with you" Isaiah 4.

Rogers Noon Kiwanis was chartered in 1924, making it the oldest Kiwanis Club in this area. Kids Need Kiwanis is our motto, and we are dedicated to helping one child, one community at a time.

Locally, we have two signature projects at this time. One is the Buddy Picnic (over 35 years) which is providing a fun cookout for the Rogers Public School special needs children (K-12) and their buddies from regular classrooms. We served over 400 this year! The second project is helping the Rogers Public School teachers, counselors and nurses to have clothes on hand for the children to change into(accidents of one kind or another, or just need). These items are stored in the new Kids Closet for the district.

Our fund raisers consist of Poinsettia sales in Oct/Nov, Gift wrapping at Barnes and Noble in Dec, Hydration Station at Frisco Car Show in Aug/Sept, Peanut Day/Fill the Kids Closet Day at Walmart #1 in Aug and concessions at the FLW fishing competition at Prairie Creek in April when in our area. We hope to continue/expand our Read To Me program, formerly known as Mr. Reader, in the public schools as our membership grows. We also give scholarships to high school seniors (for college) in need in May. We also provide Terrific Kid items to a local private school. We support Grace Hill can recycling and save the tabs for Ronald McDonald Room at Mercy Hospital.

Rogers Noon Kiwanis is always looking for programs for our Wednesday meetings, new projects/ways of serving the local community and especially welcome guests and potential new members. Throughout the World, Kiwanis International has helped make a difference by providing Service Leadership Programs, Disaster Relief, working closely with UNICEF to provide preventable cause of mental disabilities, iodine deficiency, by providing iodine to third world countries beginning in 1994. The Eliminate Project is another project teaming up with UNICEF to elimate maternal/neonatal tetanus, a preventable cause of death to mother and child with $1.80 vaccinations.

As you see, we are committed to helping children of the world to live and have productive lives. If you wish to do something to make a good change in the lives of children, please do not hesitate to contact us.

We are committed to keeping our community clean and supporting education. We organize regular litter removal events from the main trail circling Lake Atalanta, ensuring the natural beauty of our surroundings. Additionally, we donate and distribute dictionaries to all third-grade students at several local elementary schools, including Frank Tillery, Northside, and Russell Jones. We also contribute books to the Northwest Arkansas Children’s Shelter, fostering a love for reading among young minds. We’ve been making history and bringing our world closer together for over 100 years. The first Rotary Club was started in Chicago, Illinois, USA, in 1905 by an attorney named Paul Harris. Harris wanted to bring together a group of professionals with different backgrounds and skills as a way to exchange ideas and form meaningful acquaintances. Today, there are more than 36,000 Rotary clubs and 10,000 Rotaract clubs, and they are in almost every country in the world.

Arkansas Children’s is the only hospital system in the state solely dedicated to caring for children, which allows our organization to uniquely shape the landscape of pediatric care in Arkansas. We are driven by four core values:  safety, teamwork, compassion, and excellence. These values inform every decision and every action, from the aggressive pursuit of zero hospital infections to treating each family with dignity, kindness, and concern. These core values fundamentally guide our work at Arkansas Children’s.
