 A Center for the Study of Food was conceived to be more than a typical culinary school. As an academic department of NorthWest Arkansas Community College (NWACC), Brightwater offers uniquely holistic programming with academic and career training in the areas of culinary nutrition, artisanal food, beverage management and food entrepreneurship.

Brightwater breaks the mold by focusing on the larger food system, culinary skills, wellness, and strengthening local food networks to change the paradigm of culinary education. Assembling a core group of chef instructors and culinary masters, the school's Artisanal Food, Beverage Arts, Baking & Pastry and Culinary Arts programs teach and inspire students, industry professionals, and the general public in an innovative educational setting.

We offer short-term Industrial Maintenance Training to over 40 industry companies. We also provide OSHA 10 & 30, ARC Flash NFPA 70E, Fork Lift and Robotics training, soft skills and computer class training such as Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Quick Books.

The Center for Nonprofits at St. Mary's is a multi-partner venue that houses nearly 60 agencies providing health, education and human services to people living in Northwest Arkansas. By eliminating duplication of services and focusing resources on community impact versus capital campaigns, nonprofit organizations housed at the center are able to more effectively serve the community. Our focus is to provide below-market-rate leases for nonprofit organizations in a space that encourages collaboration and provides easy access to services for the public.

We provide physical office space, including classroom and meeting rooms, amenities and support services to our tenant organizations. Our model supports community development by providing a professional environment in which organizations focusing on health, social, and community services can collaborate to make a positive impact.

Our 13-acre campus, including the former St. Mary’s hospital, convent and outbuildings, totals nearly 300,000 square feet along South 13th Street and West Poplar in downtown Rogers.

Child Care Aware of Northwest Arkansas(NWA) is a non-profit organization that provides child care referrals in 17 counties in Northwest Arkansas, the River Valley, and Southcentral Arkansas. Other services include parenting classes, child care provider education, training and professional development opportunities. We also host the Healthy Families America Home Visiting Program. All services are free to you and the community.

CBCO is the exclusive provider of blood and blood products to over 40 hospitals in a 41-county area comprising Southwest Missouri, Northwest Arkansas and Southeast Kansas. More than 60,000 donations of blood are required each year to meet the transfusion needs of our friends and neighbors. We at CBCO take the responsibility of providing that blood very seriously.

Community Service Inc., offers a variety of programs including prevention and education, therapeutic foster care, day treatment, substance abuse treatment, mental health treatment, youth leadership program, youth advocate program, First Tee, youth drug court, and youth justice.
We have locations in seven counties in west central Arkansas including Conway, Faulkner, Franklin, Johnson, Pope, Van Buren and Yell counties. Last year more than 1,500 youth were helped.

Non-profit community service organization that provides free credit and housing counseling, and free financial seminars. Also conducts credit report reviews and bankruptcy counseling and education required by law.

We are the destination marketing organization (DMO) for the City of Rogers (overseen by the Rogers Advertising and Promotion Council) and work in collaboration with the Chamber to create economic opportunity for the community by attracting meetings, conventions and leisure visitors. Our work also helps to promote Rogers as an entertainment destination and world-class place to live, work, invest and play. To us, it’s all about improving the quality of life for our residents through increased tourism economic impact.

Habitat has built homes across communities in Benton County including Bentonville, Pea Ridge, Rogers, Centerton, Gravette, Decatur and Siloam Springs. Additionally, Habitat builds homes in Rogers in a 5-acre neighborhood, known as Habitat Trails. It is the first ecological neighborhood in Arkansas, and was developed in partnership with the University of Arkansas. The eco-friendly neighborhood won an international award in 2006–the EDRA/Places Award for Place Planning. Besides building houses, Habitat for Humanity builds relationships with its partners and the community, which result in a sense of belonging. All Habitat Homes are “eco-friendly”—meaning energy-efficient and environmentally sound. This results in significant savings for homeowners. Habitat Homes not only offer an affordable path to homeownership, but also offer sustainability and stability for the Homeowners. 

Hobbs is Arkansas’s largest state park, spanning a 12,054-acre tract of Ozark landscape along the southern shore of Beaver Lake. It’s an asset to the ecosystem with minimum human impact.

Highlights of this day-use park include a diverse, 54-mile trail system with hiking, ADA accessible, mountain biking, horseback riding trails. The park has 11 primitive campsites, six accessible by mountain biking, the first in Northwest Arkansas. It’s the only state park in Arkansas to allow regulated hunting. The visitor center includes exhibits about the park’s natural resources, limestone landscape, and history. Interpretive programs and workshops are offered throughout the year.

The Northwest Arkansas Human Resources Association (NOARK) has been providing service to the Human Resources community of Northwest Arkansas since September 2, 1971. NOARK is a not-for-profit organization with a membership of more than 300+ Human Resource professionals, with over 225 companies represented. As the local SHRM (Society for Human Resource Management) affiliate Chapter 0148, NOARK has been awarded numerous awards including most recently the "2020 SHRM Excel Award: Platinum Chapter."

Northwest Arkansas Children’s Shelter is a private, non-profit organization that provides 24-hour supervised care and services to children who have been abandoned, abused or neglected.

The purpose of this authority is to "develop and implement cost-effective regional solutions to the challenges of providing environmentally sound wastewater and biosolids infrastructure and watershed management."

Established by Sam Walton, Don Tyson, J.B. Hunt and other business leaders, we are a private, nonprofit organization working to advance job opportunities, talent recruitment, physical infrastructure, health care and quality of life. Most of the Council’s more than 100 members are companies, including Walmart, Tyson Foods, J.B. Hunt Transport Services, Inc., Simmons Foods and George’s, Inc.

Over the years, we supported the development of new roads and thriving downtown squares and helped shape cultural destinations like Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art, Walmart AMP, Arvest Ballpark, Scott Family Amazeum, The Momentary, Walton Arts Center, TheatreSquared, University of Arkansas and the Razorback Regional Greenway. The Northwest Arkansas Conservatory of Classical Ballet was established to meet the need for a classical training ground of high artistic standard in Northwest Arkansas. Our focus is on the proper teaching of technique and progression beginning with the syllabus of London’s Royal Academy of Dance and then introducing other teaching disciplines and styles.

Founded in 2007, Partners for Better Housing is a non-profit 501 (c)(3) housing development organization endeavoring to build quality workforce housing and facilitate upward mobility for modest and moderate-income families in Northwest Arkansas (NWA). We are committed to building thriving mixed-income communities while preparing families for long-term economic stability through our flagship Homeownership Program and Partners’ first neighborhood, The Homes at Willow Bend. Willow Bend is a mixed-income community that promotes homeownership for working-class families. New homes are currently under construction.
